Water Master pH Probe Refill & Storage Solution KCl 300 ml is a professional solution based on potassium chloride (KCl), designed for the proper storage and maintenance of pH probes and electrodes. It keeps the sensitive membrane constantly hydrated, prevents it from drying out and helps maintain the accuracy and long service life of pH measuring instruments.

Proper storage of the pH probe is an essential part of its maintenance. If the glass electrode dries out, its sensitivity gradually decreases, leading to inaccurate measurements, slower response and a shorter service life. Water Master pH Probe Refill & Storage Solution was developed specifically to prevent this problem by keeping the electrode constantly hydrated and ready for use.

The solution is suitable both for storage and for topping up electrolyte in compatible refillable pH probes. After measurement, the electrode should be rinsed with clean or distilled water, then the protective cap should be filled with a small amount of the KCl solution so that the probe tip remains constantly moist.

📋 Instructions for use

1. After completing a measurement, rinse the pH probe with clean or distilled water.
2. Pour a small amount of KCl Storage Solution into the electrode's protective cap.
3. Fit the cap so that the electrode tip remains in constant contact with the solution.
4. If using a refillable probe, top up the solution according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Replace the used solution regularly – do not return used liquid to the bottle, to avoid contamination.

⚠️ Important: Never store a pH electrode in distilled or deionised water. This can damage the sensitive membrane and reduce measurement accuracy. Always use a dedicated KCl solution for storage.
