• The set includes: a waterproof tray and lid
• The lid is fitted with adjustable ventilation openings
• Made of hard, dense plastic - does not bend
• Material: polypropylene PP (tray) and polystyrene PS (lid)

The propagator is sold without a seedling-cell tray (insert). Suitable options are:

Eazy Plug CT150 and Eazy Plug CT77

Cultilene rockwool cubes - 77pc tray

Jiffys-7 - 41mm tray with 60 cells

You can also place small pots inside: Soft seedling pot 7x7x8cm

Eazy Plug CT24 tray with 24 dry rooting and seedling plugs / blocks made from a specially formulated substrate with added nutrients. It provides good water (nutrient solution) and air permeability, which is very important for developing a strong root system from the very beginning.

• for seed germination or for rooting cuttings / clones
• for fast and vigorous rooting
• always the perfect water/air ratio (20/80%)
• 100% biodegradable

Note: the tray is made of soft plastic and can easily be divided into 2 smaller sections, suitable for use with the EP 32 seed-rooting propagator.

Eazy Plug CT104C is a professional tray with 104 organic starter plugs, designed for seed germination and rooting cuttings. The plugs are factory-stabilised at pH 5.8 and EC 1.0, providing ideal conditions for rapid development of a healthy root system. Thanks to their unique structure, they maintain an ideal water-to-oxygen balance, significantly increasing the success rate of germination and cutting establishment.

Eazy Plug CT104C was developed as a highly effective alternative to traditional peat pellets and rockwool. Each starter plug is made from an organic substrate with a special structure that evenly distributes moisture while ensuring a constant supply of oxygen to the roots. This enables faster germination, more intensive root formation and healthier growth of young plants.

Unlike many other propagation media, Eazy Plug automatically regulates the water-to-air ratio. Even with heavier watering, the plugs do not become waterlogged; excess water drains away while sufficient moisture remains around the seed or cutting. This significantly reduces the risk of root rot and pathogen development.

The plugs are pre-buffered to pH 5.8 and contain an initial nutrient charge of EC 1.0, eliminating the need for pre-treatment. After initial moistening, they are ready for immediate use. Once a strong root system has formed, plants can be transplanted directly into soil, coco substrate, rockwool or hydroponic systems without disturbing the roots.

📋 Instructions for use

1. Moisten the cubes with clean water or a weak nutrient solution.
2. Allow them to absorb the required amount of moisture, then drain them lightly.
3. Place the seed or cutting in the pre-formed hole.
4. Place the trays in a mini greenhouse or in a location with suitable temperature and humidity.
5. Keep the plugs moist without overwatering them.
6. Once a well-developed root system has formed, transplant the plugs directly into the desired substrate.

💡 Urban Botaniks tip: For maximum germination rates, combine Eazy Plug CT104C with a mini greenhouse and heat mat. A constant temperature of 22–25°C and high humidity significantly speed up seed germination and promote the formation of a strong root system.
