RAM Bug Barrier 315 mm. is a fine mesh insect barrier. The product features Velcro strips, thanks to which it fits perfectly over the intake fan! The holes in the barrier are small enough to catch insects, yet large enough to maintain airflow through the intake system.

• Keeps pests away from your indoor garden.
• Does not restrict airflow.
• Simple yet effective.

These insect shields are especially important in spring, summer and autumn, when insect populations outdoors are higher and so is the chance of them being drawn in through the ventilation and entering your garden. Since we know how difficult they are to treat once they appear, we can confidently say: Prevention is better than cure! Although these barriers reduce the chance of insects entering the grow room, you can still accidentally bring them in on your clothes or hair, so care is still needed when visiting your garden.

How to use:

• The Velcro straps make installation easy – simply tighten the barrier around the intake fan to ensure insects cannot enter from the sides.
• After each harvest, clean the insect barrier of dust, debris and trapped insects!

Falcon 2500 m³/h is a high-efficiency carbon filter designed for professional odour control in ventilation systems with airflow up to 2500 m³/h. It uses high-quality 100% Australian RC412 activated carbon, which effectively absorbs odour-causing molecules, providing clean air and discreet operation in grow rooms. Thanks to its lightweight aluminium construction and high air permeability, the filter combines excellent efficiency with easy installation.

The 250/1100 mm carbon filter is designed for professional air-extraction systems where effective odour control is essential. The interior is filled with activated carbon RC412, produced in Australia and steam-activated at very high temperatures. This type of carbon has high porosity, low density and exceptional absorption capacity, making it one of the most effective materials for air filtration.

Air passes through the thick activated-carbon bed, which traps odour molecules before they reach the extractor and are discharged outside the room. This ensures a constant flow of purified air without unpleasant odours. For maximum efficiency, the filter should be installed before the extractor, so that the entire airflow passes through the carbon.

Falcon uses a high-air-permeability aluminium outer mesh, which combines low weight with excellent mechanical strength. No glues or binding agents are used in production, allowing maximum use of the activated carbon and ensuring better airflow. Each filter is sealed immediately after production to preserve the freshness and effectiveness of the activated carbon until use.

Thanks to its large capacity and airflow of 2500 m³/h, the model is suitable for large grow rooms, professional greenhouses and installations with powerful Ø250 mm extractors, where continuous operation and reliable odour control are required.

📋 Installation and maintenance

• Install the filter before the extractor, so that the entire airflow passes through the activated carbon.
• Use an air duct with a diameter of 250 mm.
• Clean the pre-filter regularly to reduce dust build-up.
• Replace the filter with a new one when filtration efficiency decreases.

💡 Tip from Urban Botaniks: For maximum efficiency, choose a carbon filter with an airflow rating equal to or slightly higher than that of the fan. This ensures optimal filtration, a longer activated-carbon lifespan and better odour control.
