Having chlorine- and sediment-free water is essential for growing healthy plants and maintaining beneficial microorganisms, bacteria and fungi in the root zone and growing media. These microbes cannot survive in the presence of chlorine. Chlorine-free water is also essential for organic fruit and vegetables, hydroponics and every method of organic gardening in general.
