Sugar Rush Cream - 15 seeds
18,00 lei
Sugar Rush Cream is an unusual and highly productive Capsicum baccatum variety, bred by Chris Fowler from Wales. It stands out with beautiful cream-coloured, almost round fruits and a pronounced fruity flavour with citrus-lemon notes. Despite their delicate appearance, the peppers are seriously hot – 100 000–150 000 SHU. The plant can be successfully overwintered indoors, and the yield is usually even better the following year.
Sugar Rush Cream combines three qualities that make it particularly interesting – an unusual cream colour, fruity flavour with lemon notes, and high heat. The fruits are almost spherical and create a strong visual contrast with the green foliage.
The plants are highly productive and can be kept for the following season by overwintering them indoors. In the second year, an even better harvest can be expected.

🌱 Sowing and growing
Sowing: January–April
Location: indoors
Germination temperature: 20–30°C
Planting in a greenhouse: recommended for a higher yield
Planting outdoors: around the end of May

🌿 Suitable for overwintering
One of this variety's interesting characteristics is the possibility of growing it as a perennial. In autumn, the plant can be moved into a pot and brought indoors to a bright location.
🍋 Flavour and culinary use
Unlike many very hot varieties, where the main focus is on heat, Sugar Rush Cream offers a distinct fruity flavour with lemon notes.
This makes it particularly interesting for hot sauces and salsas, where its light colour and citrus character can be used to create more unusual combinations.
