ROOTIT heated seed germination mat 25 x 35cm (small)

ROOT!T Small Heat Mat is a heating mat, which warms the root zone evenly, improving germination and rooting. Maintaining a constant temperature is a key factor for success in the early stages, when young plants are most delicate and vulnerable.

• W/L dimensions: 25x35cm.
• Speeds up seed germination or the rooting of clones by days.
• Warms the root zone 5.5-11˚C above ambient temperature.
• Fully waterproof, scratch-resistant and durable.
• To set your desired precise temperature, use together with the ROOT!T heat mat thermostat.

Instructions for use:

1. Place the heat mat on a thoroughly dry surface.
2. For better results, place the mat on an insulated surface rather than directly on a cold floor.
3. Place the propagation tray (seeds, clones) on the mat. Cover it with a propagator lid – this will keep the root zone warm and maintain humidity for better rooting.
4. Connect to the mains power supply (220-240V).
5. This heat mat is designed to warm the root zone 5.5–11˚C above the ambient temperature.

Warning:

• Fire or electric shock may result from improper use!
• Make sure there are no sharp objects on the surface beneath the heat mat that could puncture it! Do not place the mat directly in the tray / propagator and do not cover it with soil or another growing medium!
• Do not cover the mat with heat-insulating materials, as this may cause overheating!
• Do not immerse in water!
