Plagron Hydro A & B 5l – two-component mineral nutrient for hydroponics

Plagron Hydro A & B is a highly concentrated two-part mineral fertiliser developed specifically for hydroponic growing on inert substrates. Its formula supplies all essential macro- and micronutrients in an easily absorbed chelated form, ensuring rapid uptake, healthy growth and abundant flowering throughout the plants' life cycle.

Plagron Hydro A & B is a professional two-part nutrient system designed for use during both vegetative growth and flowering. Separating the nutrients into two components prevents unwanted chemical reactions between calcium and phosphates, ensuring maximum stability and availability of the nutrient solution.

Hydro A is rich in calcium, which helps build strong cell walls, stimulates root development and supports plant resilience under temperature stress. Hydro B contains magnesium, an essential element for chlorophyll synthesis and efficient photosynthesis. Together, the two components provide complete nutrition throughout the development cycle.

Thanks to its high concentration (ratio 1:400), the product is highly economical. Just 1 litre of Hydro A and 1 litre of Hydro B are sufficient to prepare approximately 400 litres of nutrient solution. The nutrients are in a rapidly absorbed chelated form, allowing plants to develop optimally even at non-ideal pH or lower root-zone temperatures.

Hydro A & B is suitable for all inert substrates, including rockwool, expanded clay, perlite, Mapito and others, as well as Drain-to-Waste and recirculating hydroponic systems.

📋 Instructions for use

1. Shake the bottles well before use.
2. Add up to 2.5 ml of Hydro A per 1 litre of water.
3. Once Hydro A has dissolved completely, add the same amount of Hydro B.
4. Never mix the two concentrates directly with each other.
5. Use the prepared nutrient solution at every watering.
6. Maintain pH between 5.5 and 6.5 and adjust EC according to the plant development stage.

⚠️ Important: Always add Hydro A first, and Hydro B only after it has fully dissolved in water. Mixing the concentrates directly can lead to insoluble compounds forming and reduce fertiliser effectiveness.
