Mycorrhiza Mix

What is mycorrhiza? Mycorrhiza fungi are microbes that improve the health of plants and the quality of the soil. The threads of mycorrhizal fungi penetrate the cell walls of the roots and grow from there into the soil. As a result, they form a natural extension of the root.

As the fungal threads are extremely thin, they can reach even the smallest terminal pores. There they release minerals bound to acids and enzymes and transport them through the “network” to the plant's roots. The fungi do this for a very specific reason. In exchange for the nutrients supplied, mycorrhizal fungi absorb excess glucose from the plant. This creates a perfect symbiosis.

Why add Mycorrhiza Mix?

By adding the right fungal spores, the resulting fungal threads (mycelium) will increase absorption capacity through the roots of your plants by up to 700%!

Directions for use:

1. Mycorrhiza Mix should be mixed into the soil. As soon as growing roots come into contact with the spores, the fungi begin to grow and the foundation for the ensuing symbiosis is laid. This process should begin in under 1 week!
2. Mix 4g into the growing medium for 1 plant.
3. When planting, sprinkle 1g directly under your cuttings / seedlings or plant.
