Kardoula - 15 Seeds
18,00 lei
Kardoula (Kardoula) is an early, fast-growing Turkish pepper variety (Capsicum annuum) with exceptionally mild heat of 0–1 000 SHU. The small, conical, thick-walled fruits ripen to deep dark red and impress with rich flavour and distinctive raisin-like sweetness. Their shape is ideal for stuffing with cheese, meat or sauces.
Kardoula (Kardoula) originates from Turkey and combines an early harvest with prolonged fruiting. The fruits are sweet to barely hot, with a pronounced depth of flavour and pleasant raisin sweetness.
The small conical shape and thick walls make these peppers especially suitable for stuffing and preparing spicy appetisers. Fruiting continues for a long time, especially when grown in a greenhouse or when the plant is brought indoors in autumn.

In autumn, the plant can be moved into a pot and placed on a bright windowsill, where fruiting may continue.
🍴 Culinary use
Kardoula is especially suitable for stuffing with cheese, meat, or various sauces. Its thick walls and small conical shape are very convenient for this purpose. Its sweetness and minimal heat also make it suitable for roasting, grilling, pickling, antipasti, and fresh appetisers.
💡 Urban Botaniks tip: With Kardoula (Kardoula), I would highlight the flavour rather than the heat. The combination of 0–1 000 SHU, thick walls, and raisin-like sweetness makes it especially interesting for stuffed peppers and gourmet appetisers.
