The large 1,20m x 1,20m Danish Hydrotray is designed with large longitudinal drainage channels and smaller transverse channels. The external dimensions of the trays are slightly under 1,20m x 1,20m to fit perfectly in grow tents, and they include a 16cm-high wall.

A "smart" valve is fitted on one side to keep roots and leaves out of the channel.
Made from the highest-quality materials

The trays are manufactured from 100% virgin material of the highest quality. Over the years, the trays have been thoroughly tested for use with fertilisers, the effects of temperature changes, UV radiation and everyday wear in modern greenhouses. This knowledge is used to continuously improve and optimise the products, so that today they represent the very best quality produced in the industry.

Unique design

The unique drainage-channel design is produced so that the edge effect along the sides of the tray is minimised, ensuring a water level 2 mm higher at the edges of the tray. The result is a very uniform crop.

The trays normally have a service life of 20 years. The main advantage of impact-resistant polystyrene is its UV-radiation stability. A special UV protector has also been added to the upper side to extend service life as much as possible. The Danish Hydro tray is chemically resistant and approved for the food industry.

The tray is designed with large drainage channels along its edges and smaller channels across the tray. At the 2 ends of the tray, we have added a smart valve to keep roots and leaves out of the channel.

Reduced edge effect

The unique design of the drainage channels is manufactured so that the edge effect of a dry crop on both sides of the tray, caused by high evaporation, is minimised by providing a 2 mm higher water level and a longer irrigation time for plants at the edges.
