The AquaSolve UV steriliser, rated at 16 watts, operates at a wavelength of 254 nm (germicidal UV-C), providing up to 99.9% disinfection at a flow rate of up to approximately 7.6 litres per minute (≈2 gallons/min). It is suitable for drinking water production, irrigation systems and all situations where chemical-free sterility is required.

Recommendations for use

1. Filtration is recommended before the UV chamber—removal of solid particles (for example, with a 5 µm pre-filter or finer)—to improve UV radiation efficiency.
2. Replace the lamp every ~9 000 operating hours, even if it still lights up, because its effectiveness decreases over time.
3. Clean the quartz sleeve from the inside to remove calcium or mineral deposits that can block UV light.
4. Install the system so that the UV lamp has sufficient contact with the water—the inlet and outlet should be below or above the chamber, as specified in the instructions.
5. Make sure that no air or bubbles remain in the chamber—they reduce sterilisation efficiency.
