Increased cell division is crucial, especially at the beginning of your young plant's life. Through cell division, plants grow and become less vulnerable to bacterial and fungal diseases. The better this process works, the stronger and healthier your plants will be throughout their entire cycle.
Cell elongation, on the other hand, is the next step in ensuring your plants are strong and healthy, helping you achieve an excellent final result. During cell elongation, a protein called "Auxin" loosens the cell wall so the cell can elongate and absorb more nutrients. Take Root stimulates this process, enabling every cell to absorb at maximum capacity. The more nutrients a cell can absorb, the faster your plants will grow and the healthier they will be.

Plants absorb essential elements from the air and light, as well as nutrients in the soil. The plant's roots and leaves are the main components that absorb these elements. It is essential that plants receive not only sufficient nutrients, but also the right ratio. This helps prevent nutrient deficiencies or toxicity (when the plant receives too many nutrients) and promotes maximum growth and health.
During the growth phase, the plant is at its most vulnerable. Diseases associated with fungi and bacteria pose a real threat to underdeveloped roots and leaves. What is your water quality?

• Water properties in Bulgaria vary across regions. CANNA TERRA and COCO nutrients are most compatible with normal water, usually with an electrical conductivity (EC) of 0.4–0.5.

According to conductivity levels, water is broadly divided into four different types:

1) soft water, 2) normal water, 3) hard water and 4) poor-quality water

What is the difference between soft, hard and/or poor-quality water, and what can you do about it?

1. Soft water has an electrical conductivity level of EC < 0.4 mS/cm. With CANNA CALMAG AGENT, you can raise your water’s electrical conductivity to 0.4 mS/cm.
2. Normal water has an electrical conductivity level between 0.4 and 0.5 mS/cm. It contains calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate to stabilise pH. CANNA TERRA and COCO base nutrients are designed to work best with this type of water.
3. Hard water (EC > 0.5 mS/cm) contains more calcium and magnesium than plants can absorb. When growing plants, the best way to treat this type of water is to use a reverse-osmosis filter, then mix the hard water with reverse-osmosis water until you reach an electrical conductivity (EC) level of 0.4 mS/cm.
4. Poor-quality water (EC>0.5 mS/cm) contains mainly sodium and chloride. These two elements can block the uptake of beneficial nutrients and become toxic to your plants. A reverse-osmosis filter can remove both elements. Simply preparing a mix of poor-quality water and reverse-osmosis water with an EC of 0.4 mS/cm will provide enough bicarbonates to stabilise pH, but calcium and magnesium levels will be too low. Prepare a mix of osmosis and tap water until you reach an EC of 0.2 mS/cm, then add CANNA CALMAG AGENT until you reach an EC of 0.4 mS/cm.

Olive Focus with seaweed is a specially developed concentrated liquid fertilizer for olive trees grown in pots, containers or greenhouses. Its formula is an optimal balance of macro- and micronutrients and contains all essential nutrients for the healthy long-term growth of olive trees.

Silicon is a beneficial plant nutrient found in almost all natural soils, but so far it has not been included in hydroponic* nutrient solutions. Silicon strengthens plant cell walls, producing healthier plants with substantial root systems and increased resistance to pests and diseases. Liquid Silicon is highly beneficial to plants at 20–50 parts per million in the nutrient solution. It is not included, and cannot be included at such levels, in nutrient solutions. It must be added as a separate component by the grower/gardener. Liquid Silicon can be added to the nutrient tank every time a new nutrient solution is prepared.

Liquid Silicon plays an important role in the absorption and vascular transport of mineral nutrients and can significantly improve the plant's mechanical strength and resistance to fungal diseases. Adding Liquid Silicon to nutrient solutions can significantly reduce the frequency and severity of fungal diseases, including rot and powdery mildew. Recent studies show that increasing the concentration of silicon in hydroponic* solutions leads to thicker, whiter, healthier root systems and increased yields. Silicon availability has been found to result in higher chlorophyll concentrations per unit of leaf tissue area. This means that the plant can tolerate both lower and higher light levels, using more of the available light.
