SuperPro SPEED-B1 fan speed controller
529,00 lei
SuperPro SPEED-B1 is a temperature controller that automatically increases or decreases the power of the exhaust fan (which expels warm air) according to the temperature.
- Input voltage: 230V AC
- Max. fan current: 4.5Amps at 230V AC
- Controlled temperature range: from 7°C to 25°C
- Controlled minimum power range: from 25% to 75%
- Temperature accuracy: +/- 1°C
- Weight / Dimensions: < 0.5kg / 76*152*90mm
SuperPro SPEED-B1 is a temperature controller that automatically increases or decreases the power of the exhaust fan (which expels warm air) according to the temperature.
The user sets the desired temperature and how the ventilation behaves at a lower temperature. A built-in photocell offers several options for responding to temperature changes during the dark period through the shutdown function "LOW-TEMP". When the photocell is active, the "DAYTTIME" indicator lights up in the upper-right corner of the housing.
WARNING: The controller is not waterproof. Install only in locations where there is no risk of getting wet!!!
Installation:
- Plug the SPEED-B1 into a standard 220V socket. For permanent installation, the mounting lug at the top of the housing can be used.
- Make sure the fan permits power-control regulation and that its consumption does not exceed the controller's maximum load (6 A, 1300 W).
WARNING: The fan must operate at sufficient power (speed) so that it does not stop and stall. An electric motor supplied with power without rotating will overheat, burn out and also burn out the controller. If the fan rotates with difficulty and/or with unusual noise/vibration, immediately increase the minimum speed setting ("IDLE SPEED")!!!
Setting low-temperature behaviour:
- The user can choose whether to set the fan to run at minimum speed ("IDLE SPEED") or to stop. When the temperature drops 5ºC below the set temperature, the fan can be stopped completely (to avoid excessively low temperatures) or continue to operate at the set minimum speed. Low-temperature behaviour can operate in three modes:
- Continuous minimum-speed mode: Connect the controller to the mains and turn both knobs fully to the left. After a few seconds, the indicator lights will start flashing, after which only the red indicator will remain lit.
- Switch-off at low night-time temperature: Connect the controller to the mains and turn both knobs fully to the right. After a few seconds, the indicator lights will start flashing, after which only the yellow indicator will remain lit.
- Switch-off at low temperature irrespective of lighting: Connect the controller to the mains and turn the temperature knob fully to the left and the minimum-speed knob fully to the right. After a few seconds, the indicator lights will start flashing, after which both indicators will remain lit.
Setting the temperature:
- Select the desired temperature by turning the left knob. Set the minimum speed. Above this value, the fan will operate at 100%. As the temperature falls, the controller will supply power according to the selected mode (see above). When power is supplied, the "OUTPUT ON" indicator will light up.
Questions and Answers:
How do I know whether the photocell is working?
- The photocell operates with a 30-second delay to prevent activation from accidental flashes of light or darkness. The green "DAYTIME" indicator on the right-hand side of the housing will light up when the photocell is in daytime mode.
Can I connect more than one fan to the timer?
- NO, the controller is designed to control ONE fan.
Does the room temperature not match the setting?
- The temperature sensor is located at the bottom of the housing, surrounded by a plastic "cage". Check that the controller is not affected by other devices or direct light, and that it has access to the same air.
The timer does not supply power?
- Check whether power is being supplied to the timer. If the timer does not work, contact your distributor.
Are the indicators flashing quickly?
- The controller is overloaded. Disconnect it from the mains for 15 seconds and reconnect it. (The red and yellow indicators flash when selecting a mode; this is not an overload signal.)
