Sim BACIL 1 L - Organic Fungicide

Sim BACIL 1l. is an organic fungicide for preventing and controlling fungal diseases in plants, such as powdery mildew*, Botrytis (also known as grey mould* or grey rot*), downy mildew*, phomopsis* and others. Sim BACIL is suitable for use in organic farming, but can be mixed with plant-protection products, chemical fertilisers or insecticides without affecting its action.
Composition:
- Bacillus Subtilis 10%
- Zinc (Zn) soluble 3%
- organic matter 10%
- Protease 200 U/g
Suitable for application on:
- vegetables, fruit trees, strawberry, banana, vines, wheat, barley, melon, citrus fruits, beet, cotton, sunflower, maize, rapeseed, soybean, beans, peanuts, peas, potatoes, onions, carrots, lettuce, asparagus, pumpkin, ornamental plants, flowers
Application:
- Foliar application: to prepare a foliar spray, dissolve 2ml in 1l. water. Repeat the application 2-4 times during the growing season.
- Application through irrigation: on vegetables and fruit trees at the beginning of fruit formation, at doses of 1-2l./dka.
Foliar application of crops:
- Vegetables (cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli): first application after transplanting, when plants are 5-10 cm tall; 2-3 applications every 10-20 days.
- Fruit trees: first application when leaves are 1-2 cm long; 2-3 applications every 15-20 days.
- Strawberries: first application at the beginning of cultivation; 3-4 applications every 10-15 days.
- Bananas: first application at the beginning of spring; 3-5 applications every 15 days.
- Vines: 4 applications – at flowering, bunch closure, during ripening and 21 days before harvest.
- Wheat, barley: 2 applications, at stem elongation and ear emergence.
- Melons: first application when plants are 15-20 cm tall; 3 applications every 15-20 days.
- Citrus: first application before flowering; 3 applications every 30 days.
- Beetroot: first application after thinning; 3 applications every 15-20 days.
- Cotton: first application when plants are 15-20 cm tall; 2 applications every 20-30 days.
- Sunflower, maize, rapeseed: first application when plants are 15-20 cm tall; 2 applications every 20-30 days
- Soybean, beans, peanuts, peas: first application when plants are 5-10 cm tall; 3-5 applications every 15-20 days.
- Courgettes: first application after germination or transplanting, then repeat every 7 to 10 days.
- Lettuce: first application after transplanting, then repeat every 7 to 10 days.
- Asparagus: first application after emergence and when conditions favour disease development. Subsequent applications every 7 to 10 days.
- Potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic: first application when plants are 15-20 cm tall; 2-4 applications every 15-20 days.
Mode of action of Bacillus subtilis:
- Inhibits spore germination and mycelial growth.
- Competes with pathogens for nutrient uptake.
- The bacillus prevents pathogen growth by occupying the space where the pathogen grows and establishes itself.
- Prevents phytopathogens from colonising plant tissues.
- Increases plant resistance to pathogens.
