The FCPS-AB antibacterial mechanical filter is made of polypropylene foam that uses BACINIX^TM antimicrobial and antibacterial nano-silver technology. The FCPS5-AB filter retains particles down to 5 microns. This type of filter is especially suitable for the pre-filtration stage in standard 10” filter housings. The filter is chemical-resistant and designed for use with cold water in households, industry and laboratories.

FCPS5-AB mechanical filter cartridges, made of polypropylene fibres, are formed into foam whose density increases from the outside inward. This fibre structure contains microbubbles with openings, increasing the contact of filtered water with the filter. If the filtering surface of the FCPS5-AB filter element were unfolded, it would be the size of a football field.
