Medium-sized tomatoes - Beauty and flavour in one

Description:
This tomato group is medium-sized, falling between cherry tomatoes and large-fruited varieties. Each variety has its own unique character. Climbing varieties ripen slightly later than compact ones, but perform better when grown with rain protection—under a canopy, in a greenhouse or in a tunnel.

This particular variety was developed by Tom Wagner, known for varieties rich in the natural antioxidant anthocyanin (blue colouring). It was obtained by crossing OSU P20 and Green Zebra. The result is magnificent warm-yellow fruits (50-80 mm) with indigo streaks. Colour intensity increases with greater exposure to sunlight. The flavour is balanced and refreshing, with a slight tart note that adds a healthy character. Plants are vigorous, especially in a greenhouse.

Sowing method:

• Period: Sow the seeds indoors from March to May.
• Transplanting: Once seedlings reach 5 cm in height, transplant them into pots. Provide plenty of light and start hardening them off outdoors in suitable weather from April.
• Planting outdoors: After the end of May.
• Care: Regularly remove side shoots from climbing varieties. Plant spacing should be 60-80 cm.
