The controller uses the latest microprocessor and infrared technology to monitor and control carbon dioxide levels in growing spaces. It can operate with or without a CO2 sensor and can be used with either bottled CO2 gas or a CO2 generator. In addition, the computer can be connected to most external thermo-hygrometers to improve environmental control in spaces from 1 m3 to 999 m3.

This set includes the Evolution N.D.I.R. CO2 Sensor, which uses non-dispersive infrared technology for fast and accurate CO2 monitoring. This sensor is highly accurate, affordable and costs less than half the price of comparable products on the market.

To complete the kit, we offer the Ecotechnics regulator, manufactured in the UK from the highest-quality components. It provides a fixed flow of 0.17ltrs per minute and is a standard Ecotechnics horticultural regulator.

Carbon dioxide is one of the key factors in indoor or greenhouse cultivation. Photosynthesis is the process in which a carbon dioxide molecule combines with a water molecule to form complex sugars. As a result, a spare oxygen atom is released back into the air, while the sugars are further processed by the plant to form natural growth polymers. CO2 levels in the air are normally 300-400 ppm, and fast-growing plants in your grow room or greenhouse can use all available CO2 in less than one hour, which slows photosynthesis and consequently growth.

That is why a CO2 system is very important for the proper development of your plants.
