CANNA COGr Slab 1m - compressed coconut growing medium slab
33,00 lei
At the heart of the COGr product line are the CANNA COGr slabs. These slabs consist of a complex blend of coco chips, coco fibre and coco granules*.
- Thanks to their coarse coco structure, COGr slabs have the unique ability to absorb large quantities of nutrients, moisture and air simultaneously, which are made instantly available to the plant.
- Their growing medium outperforms all other growing media, stimulating faster plant development and higher yields.
- COGr slabs are ideal for transport. They are supplied dry and compressed.
- Less than 2 kg
- Add 12.5 L of water
- Get 21–25 L of coco as the final result
Directions for use:

- COGr slabs are compressed and supplied dry, making them easy to transport and store. Please see (1).
- To prepare them for use, COGr slabs must first be soaked and buffered in the specially prepared CANNA COGr buffering solution. The slabs will expand. Please see (2).
- Dilute the COGr buffering solution with water at a ratio of 1:500 and adjust pH to 5.5–5.8.
- Add ± 12.5 litres of diluted buffering liquid to each COGr slab using a watering can or hose. Please see (3).
- Make the drainage holes either before or after adding the COGr buffering solution, depending on the system you use. Please see (4).
- Leave the COGr slabs in the COGr buffering solution for 24 hours so they can reach their optimum condition. Drain excess water from the slab, then make planting holes. Please see (5).

- COGr is now ready for planting. Please see (1).
- After placing the plants on the slab, we recommend using CANNA RHIZOTONIC. This product stimulates root growth and makes rooting into the slab easier. It creates more vigorous, more productive plants. RHIZOTONIC is added as a foliar spray. It can also be applied with a watering can or through a drip-irrigation system. Please see (2).
- Start with CANNA COGr Vega at EC = 1.5 mS/cm2 and pH = 5.5–5.8. Please see (3).
- Once plants develop a good root structure, solution concentration should be increased to 1:250. Recommended EC: 1.8–2.4 mS/cm2, depending on water quality and its EC.

- Use COGr Vega up to and including a maximum of 2–3 weeks into the flowering period (12-hour light/dark regime). Once growth has peaked and flower formation begins, it is time to start using CANNA COGr Flores (solution at 1:250; EC 1.8–2.7 mS/cm2; pH 5.5–5.8). Please see (1).
- During flowering, the plant needs more phosphorus and potassium, which can be provided by adding CANNA PK 13/14 for one week, 3 weeks before harvest. Result: additional yield. Please see (2).
- Stop giving COGr Flores one week before harvest.
- During the final week, use only water and CANNAZYM.

Reuse: Thanks to their firm structure, COGr slabs can be used 3 times without any problems or loss of quality.
- Harvest the fruit from the plant and remove the remaining part above the surface. Please see (1).
- Rinse the COGr slabs thoroughly with a double dose of CANNAZYM and leave them for 24 hours. Please see (2).
- The COGr buffer solution is no longer needed, so you can start planting immediately. Please see (3).
Growing plants in pots using COGr slabs:
- If you want to use COGr slabs in pots, simply buffer the slabs as usual and transfer the contents into pots. One litre of COGr buffer solution can be diluted to make 500 litres. A two-litre CANNA COGr pack (1 litre A, 1 litre B) makes 250 litres of solution.
Tips:
- When growing plants in trays with a controlled drainage system, it is easier to make the drainage cuts first, then turn over the COGr coco substrate and fill the plant container with buffer solution.
- From the very beginning, CANNAZYM can be added to the nutrient solution. CANNAZYM breaks down dead roots, provides more air in the slab, helps prevent plant diseases, stimulates soil microorganisms and produces additional nutrients for the roots. CANNAZYM can be used continuously with the nutrient solution (1:400 dilution) or once a week (1:100 dilution). It also increases the reuse potential of COGr.
