How does BOVEDA work for herbs?

• Products from BOVEDA are scientifically designed to maintain precisely defined relative humidity levels in an enclosed space. BOVEDA will never humidify beyond the relative humidity level stated on the pack, so there is no such thing as "too moist". The more sachets you place in one container, the more effectively and longer they will work. When you feel that the whole BOVEDA sachet has hardened, it is a sign that it is time to replace it. Simply place BOVEDA in your container to maintain precisely defined relative humidity levels. Each BOVEDA consists of a specially prepared saturated solution of pure water and natural salt. This saturated solution is contained in a reverse-osmosis membrane that is permeable to water vapour. In a sealed container, BOVEDA maintains a preset relative humidity level of 62% by releasing or absorbing purified water vapour through the membrane as needed.
