Recommendations for use

• When planting, place a drainage layer—perlite, gravel or expanded clay—to prevent water retention.
• For easier moving, partially fill the pot and use the handles.
• If used outdoors, it is advisable to provide cover or a location where a full pot is not directly exposed to wind.
• In very cold weather (at sub-zero temperatures), it is best to insulate the pot or keep it in a sheltered place to prevent cracking.
• Aerate the soil periodically, especially during wet periods.

Benefits

This pot combines capacity and strength, allowing larger plants to be planted and grown without compromise. The handles make it much easier to move despite its large size. Its material is resistant to outdoor conditions, while the design is practical and functional.

Air - Pot® 20L. is ideal for larger plants. Air - Pot® are ‘breathable’ pots that ensure plants develop healthy fibrous roots without circling. Every gardener, from hobbyist to professional, knows that healthy roots mean faster growth and better uptake of nutrients and water. The containers are sturdy and can be reused, even in tropical sunshine.

Roots – the strength behind the plant.

Roots are the engine of the plant, but because we cannot see them, their importance is too often overlooked. Growing in standard plant containers always leads to roots that circle around – a deformation that compromises plant health. Air-Pot containers eliminate circling and stimulate the development of healthy roots.

How does Air-Pot® technology work?

1. The shape of the pot wall directs every root towards an air opening.
2. The air dehydrates the tip, prunes it and stimulates root branching.
3. The process repeats until there is a huge mass of healthy fibrous roots.
4. The air openings also provide perfect drainage and aeration of the growing medium, creating ideal conditions for beneficial bacteria to release more nutrients for the plant.
