Recommendations for use:

Probe storage: add a few drops to the pH probe cap and close it to keep the tip continuously moist.

Restoration: if the probe has dried out, soak it in KCl solution for 24 hours before using it again.

Maintenance: use monthly to maintain measurement accuracy and response speed.

Product storage: store in a cool, dry place away from direct light.

Electrical conductivity (EC) meters must be calibrated regularly. Follow the instructions supplied with the meter. After use, always rinse the probe with clean water and dry it with a tissue.
The Bluelab Truncheon EC meter does not require calibration! However, it should be checked regularly with this solution. If the reading is low or different from 2.76 mS/cm, the probe tip must be cleaned carefully; also check the batteries.

Regular use extends the life of pH electrodes and maintains maximum measurement accuracy.

Every pH electrode gradually becomes contaminated during use, especially when measuring nutrient solutions, water with high mineral content or organic solutions. Deposits on the sensitive membrane can lead to a slower response, inaccurate measurements and difficult calibration.Growth Technology pH Probe Cleaner was developed specifically to safely remove these contaminants without damaging the electrode's sensitive structure.

Regular cleaning restores the probe's response speed, improves measurement accuracy and reduces the need for premature electrode replacement. The manufacturer recommends that, after each cleaning, the probe be recalibrated using pH 7.0 and pH 4.0 buffer solutions to ensure the most accurate results.

📋 Instructions for use

1. Rinse the pH probe with clean water.
2. Apply a small amount of Growth Technology pH Probe Cleaner to a soft brush or directly onto the electrode.
3. Carefully clean the glass membrane without applying excessive pressure.
4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
5. Store the probe in pH Probe Refill and Storage.
6. Before the next use, calibrate with pH 7.0 and pH 4.0 buffer solutions.

📋 Instructions for use

1. After completing a measurement, rinse the pH probe with clean or distilled water.
2. Pour a small amount of KCl Storage Solution into the electrode's protective cap.
3. Fit the cap so that the electrode tip remains in constant contact with the solution.
4. If using a refillable probe, top up the solution according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Replace the used solution regularly – do not return used liquid to the bottle, to avoid contamination.
