Mechanism of action of Bacillus subtilis :

  1. Inhibits spore germination and mycelial growth.
  2. Competes with pathogens for nutrient uptake.
  3. The bacillus does not allow the growth of the pathogen because it covers the space in which it grows and settles in it.
  4. Prevents phytopathogens from settling in plant tissues.
  5. Increases plant resistance against pathogens.
