Higher efficiency means more light for your plants. It enables rapid lamp ignition, saving energy. Quieter than any other ballast. The 400W model has 4 operating modes: 250W, 250W Boost, 400W and 400W Boost. For a 400W lamp, start at 400W; after 10-15 minutes you can switch to 400 Boost (+10%) or reduce to 250 Boost or 250W.
